Germany B&B
Germany - a major destination for tourists, is justly proud of its modern society, its culture, technological achievements, sporting successes and its influence in the European Union, being a founding member in 1957. Germany is divided into 16 states, each with its own elected government, and each state can claim some individuality in architecture, landscape, cuisine, beer, wine, culture, festivals and much more. Where does the first time tourist choose to visit? Perhaps the Rhine and Mosel river valleys. Here you will find castles and grapes vines, adhering to steep valley sides. Or maybe the Black Forest, home of the Cuckoo clock and Germany's highest waterfalls. Or Bavaria with its oompah bands, beer halls, lederhosen, ancient postcard towns, unbelievable scenery and the famous Munich Oktoberfest, a beer drinkers heaven. If a city holiday is preferred then Berlin has to be your first choice. A visit to the remnents of the Berlin wall is a must and the city offers a multitude of fine museums, theatres, refined restaurants, lively nightclubs and raucous pubs. Other cities worth considering are Munich, Heidelberg, Bamberg, Cologne, Freiburg, Hamburg, Dresden, Regensburg, Münster and Stuttgart. Whatever your choice, you can be certain of a warm welcome and lively hospitality.
